Artefacts specializes in repair, restoration and maintenance of vintage synthesizers, drum machines and studio equipment. We have a great passion for the sound of these instruments and we would like to keep them for the future. We repair and restore with attention to detail and where possible we improve reliability and stability without compromising the unique sound of the instruments. In addition to carrying out repairs, we also install midi retrofits and other upgrades. Our customers are studios, musicians and hobbyists within The Netherlands and abroad.

Procedure
After the instrument has arrived in our workshop, the instrument is tested and an inventory is made of any problems and what maintenance may be required. We contact you with an indication of the costs. Depending on your budget and preferences we perform the suggested repairs and maintenance. If we come across unexpected problems that will increase the costs of the repair, we will contact you and discuss how to proceed.
Turnaround times
Most repairs will be carried out within 3 to 4 weeks if parts are in stock or quickly available. Instruments whit many issues and restorations take more time, especially if parts or documentation have to be ordered abroad.
Shipping
We prefer personal contact with our customers and for instruments to be delivered to us. it is also possible to ship them to Artefacts. Make sure the instrument is well packed and shipped with tracking and insurance. Artefacts is not responsible for any damage or loss of your instruments during shipping to or from Artefacts.
Payment and pickup
Payment can be done with debit card(pin), cash, PayPal on pickup. We are also open to trade-in of instruments (working or non-working) and parts. After the work on your instrument is completed, we ask that you to pick up the instruments within 2 weeks.
Warranty
On all work carried out by Artefacts and parts there is a warranty period of 3 months. This warranty applies only to the repairs performed and not to the entire instrument or effect. Defects that have a different cause are considered a new repair.
