The Crumar Bit-One is a 6 voice polyphonic synthesizer with two DCO’s for each voice and a velocity sensitive keyboard. The velocity can be mapped to several parameters, for example the LFO speed, attack time of the envelopes, envelope modulation depth of the filters or the vca.. This a nice feature that is not present on many other synthesizers from this era.
This Bit-One has a Tauntek upgrade installed, with this upgrade all parameters are controllable over midi. More information regarding the upgrade you can fine here. The capacitors in the power supply have been replaced, all tantalum capacitors in the power supply lines have been replaced and new battery is installed.
